『襲』×仕覆 七宝網掛け≪伊藤組紐店≫香色 墨色 

第50回京漆器展理事長賞

‘色のグラデーションがなんとも美しい逸品。それでいて実用性を兼ね備えており、使う場面を想像させてくれる。また、縄袋も独創的で面白い’

‘漆の塗り色は、かさねたときに綺麗なグラデーションとなっていて落ち着いた品が感じられます。フレンチやどんな料理をあわせるとよいのかなと考えてしまいました。ネットに入れて持ち運んで使えるというのもアイデアです’

‘平安期の染織をイメージさせる繊細な言葉で漆の色彩を表現しつつ、また網の袋に入れて運ぶというイメージからか、道具としての漆器の根源的な姿が現れていて、とても力強い。工芸と人の歴史にまで重層的に鑑賞者を誘う稀有な作品だと思います’

‘「襲(かさね)」というテーマからは「襲の色目」が思い浮かび、実際、お皿のフチが多彩に重なる様子は、静かな迫力があります。お皿自体は浅いのだけれど、その見事な塗りで深さを感じさせてくれました。太い紐で編まれた収納用の網のからは漁師さんの道具を思い起し、京漆器らしからぬその組み合わせに驚きました’

‘The color gradation is so beautiful that it has practicality and makes you imagine the scene to use. The drawstring bag is also unique and interesting’

‘The colors of the lacquered coating are beautiful gradation and it make feel calm and elegant. I thought it would be nice to combine French or any dish. It ’s an idea to carry it in the drawstring bag’

‘Expresses the color of lacquer with delicate words that image the dyeing and weaving of the Heian period.
Also, from the image of carrying it in a net bag, the basic figure of lacquerware as a tool has appeared, and it is very powerful. I think it is a rare work that invites viewers to craft and human history. ‘

‘From the theme of ” Kasane “, ‘The color of Kasane -Since the Hein period ,the outer and inner linings of clothing used in public society, and the color assortment when wearing clothing repeatedly-‘comes to mind, and in fact, the appearance of various overlapping plate edges is quiet and powerful. Although the plate itself is shallow, it has made me feel the depth with its brilliant coating technique. The storage drawstring bag with a thick string reminded me of a fisherman’s tool, and I was amazed at the combination that was not like a Kyoto lacquerware.’
